Get to know Lisette Rivas-Hermina

Lisette Rivas-Hermina is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained by Drs. Anthony Mannarino, Esther Deblinger, and Judy Cohen, the developers of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide training and supervision to therapists in TF-CBT as a Trainer of Trainers. She has been working with traumatized children and their families for 13 years, and has been training for the last 5 years. Her expertise in the areas of domestic violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect inform the depth of her capacity to understand the complexities of childhood trauma.

Where are Trainings Held?

Lisette Rivas-Hermina encourages agencies to host TF-CBT trainings for their agency and community providers or open the training to the public to assist in creating a trauma informed network.

Lisette is experienced in providing the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Training Protocol for TF-CBT and can assist your agency in complying with the protocol. In addition, she can provide a general trauma informed training to help clinicians understand the specific dynamics of trauma such as Domestic Violence, Sexual abuse, Physical Abuse or Neglect.

For your convenience, Lisette provides in home or office based mental health services.
